Market Statistics
The Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board represents over 2,500 Members in achieving high levels of excellence in organized real estate by providing superior tools and services that enhance and build a vibrant real estate industry. One of our most important contributions to organized real estate is our role as the premier source for all real estate market statistics on properties listed and sold on the MLS® System within the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region.
We provide robust analytics which include year-over-year comparative analysis, total market sales, new listings, sales–to-listing ratios and the average price within an area. These statistics are compiled monthly and available to both consumers and media.
Our monthly real estate performance updates summarize the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region MLS® market activity with key highlights.
July 2026 Real Estate Market Release
July 2026 saw the residential detached average price of $454,264 increase 2% from last year and increase 6% from the 5-year average. Condominium average prices of $290,522 increased 2% from July 2025 and increased 5% from the 5-year average. All MLS® 1 sales of 1,475 were down 9% from last July and 1% below the 5-year average. Active All MLS® listings of 4,005 were up 9% from last year and 1% above the 5-year average. Total MLS® dollar volume of over $601 million was down 7% from July 2025 and up 4% from the 5-year average. Residential detached MLS® sales of 1,054 were down 7% from last year and down 1% from the 5-year average. Condominium MLS® sales of 187 were down 21% from last July and down 12% from the 5-year average.

REALTORS® are professional and informed and are continually updating their knowledge so their clients become more informed on all aspects of the buying and selling process.
